Just trying to bring in some warmth into this sub-freezing winter day. To do this I found this video of a Ray Bethell of Vancouver, BC showing off his Kite Flying Skills where his flys not one.. not two But Three kites in formation. The ending really is the unbelievable part of the whole video. Wow! - Ray - Thanks for warming me up and bringing a little summer sunshine into this cold cold day.

This is quite fasinating - This gentleman from England made a complete working Ukulele from wooden Matchsticks - Over 10,000 matchsticks were used in making this masterpiece. Plus there is over 2 pounds of glue holding this all together. But that is not the amazing part. This ukulele took over 400 hours to make - Jack Hall - Did this 5 hours a day for a long long time. :-)

The Matchstick UkulelePictured to the left is the creator’s son - He looks prety proud of his father. I would be too. That really is a nice looking Ukulele.

The detail on this is incredible. The Herringbone of the matchsticks using the semi-burnt heads to create this pattern - Now thats cool.

Below you will see a video of someone playing a Ukulele - In case you have no idea what one sounds like.

I remember as a kid - Going to the local park to see Tiny Tim play on the bandstand. Tiny Tim was a pretty good musician fromĀ  I recall. The Park I saw him at was Kennywood Park located in West Mifflin PA - The RollerCoaster Capitol of the World. Home of the Thunderbolt - The Steel Phantom - The Jack Rabbit - The Racer - Phantom’s Revenge. Well you get the Idea.

More info on the Ukulele builtĀ  from matchsticks.

Now on to the music - Below is Star Wars Performed on a Uke. Yes, All you Trekies and Sci-Fi Geeks we have combined the two - A Uke with a good theme song.
